The Junk Food Project, DMU and LCiL join to celebrate Christmas

On Friday 8th December we cooked up a Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings for 120 people from the local community. We did this in partnership with DMU Local and LCiL and together we created a wonderfully festive afternoon.
Thankyou to Laura Horton and all of the team at LCIL, Debbie Tinsley and DMU Local and of course all of the wonderful volunteers here at TRJFP Leicester for making the whole day run so smoothly. Thankyou also to Jon Williams for the lovely photographs, Andy and the team at The Shires in Peatling Parva for meat, to Amika, the choir of carol singers who sang for us after dinner and to everybody who donated Christmas puddings.
